My people! If you're here, you obviously remember this cartoon. Ive never ran into anyone in person who remembers it.

I was around 10 years old when my family got cable for the first time ever and this was one of the cartoons airing on nickelodeon at the time. I remember being blown away with all the kids channels, prior that all we had were the free antenna channels which only showed cartoons on Saturday mornings and a little on weekdays when i got home from school. Such an innocent time

Its crazy how just listening to this song brought me to tears. Even after all these years, something as simple and clean as David the Gnome is enough to evoke that kind of emotion. Kids today will never understand what it was like to grow up in the 80s with shows like this.
